Cindy Yang, LPC, MA

My name is Cindy Yang, and I am a clinical counselor in Massachusetts and an LPC in Texas. I work with adults ages 18 and above and I have experience supporting clients from many cultural backgrounds. I often work with concerns such as anxiety, depression, panic, and grief. My approach is collaborative and solution focused, with attention to both emotional understanding and meaningful progress.

I specialize in working with people who have learned to prioritize achievement, responsibility, and the needs of others over their own wellbeing. Many clients come to therapy feeling worn down by people pleasing or disconnected from what they actually want for their lives. Together, we work to understand the roots of these patterns, process experiences that may still be holding you back, and clarify what you want moving forward. I use mindfulness, reality therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy to help you slow down, tune into your emotions, and take clear and manageable steps toward change.

I also have a particular interest in men’s mental health and in supporting men who may feel unsure about reaching out for help. Many men carry the belief that they should manage everything on their own, even when it becomes overwhelming. My goal is to provide a respectful, practical, and supportive space where you can focus on what matters and start building a life that feels more balanced and authentic.
